I'm writing my paper about The Lady From Shanghai.  Basically, I've written how the world in which a woman (especially a femme fatale) moves the plot instead of the male protagonist is a world in which everything falls into utter chaos. His Irish brogue in The Lady From Shanghai  is quite endearing, I must say.
